Which quality level do my walls need?

Q2 is sufficient for tiles and textured wallpaper. For smooth paint we recommend Q3, and for grazing light or high gloss, Q4. We advise on the right choice for your intended surface.

What about acoustic insulation?

With twin stud frames, decoupled connections and mineral-wool insulation we achieve significantly improved sound-reduction values. We agree the target value with you before execution.

Is drywall suitable for wet rooms?

Yes. In bathrooms we use impregnated or cement-bonded building boards and apply waterproofing to DIN 18534 before tiling.

Drywall

Drywall is the foundation of every modern interior fit-out. We build stud framing, partitions and suspended ceilings to the millimetre — with clean finishing up to Q4 and considered acoustic and fire protection.

Stud framing and boarding

We plan the stud framing to structural and acoustic requirements and board it with single- or multi-layer plasterboard or gypsum-fibre panels. Impregnated boards are used for wet rooms, and fire-protection boards of resistance classes F30 to F90 where required. Openings for electrical, plumbing and ventilation are cleanly coordinated.

Finishing levels Q1–Q4

Surface quality determines the final appearance. We finish to quality levels Q1 through Q4 — from base jointing to full-surface skim coating for grazing light and gloss paints. Joints are reinforced and edges executed with protective profiles.
